Bathroom 1 Before

Object:-
To remove existing suite and tiles. To construct boxwork around ceiling to house low valtage down lighters and conceal ducting for extractor.
To remove bath, move location of wc and basin and take out airing cupboard.
To fully tile walls and floor and install electric under floor heating.
To install drain in floor to produce wet area for shower and install thermostatic shower valve within.

Bathroom 1 During

Photo shows bathroom after commencing work.
After opening the wall to gain access to the soil pipe it was discovered that there was over 300mm of void space along the whole length of the wall. It was decided to open this space up to give more space to the bathroom.

Bathroom 1 After

Photo shows box work to rear of wc. the verticle boxing covers the soil stack and a matching box in the corner creates ideal display space when the glass shelves are added. The lower half of the box houses the concealed cistern and the metal frame to hold the wall hung toilet.

The chrome pole on the left is the support upright for the shower screen.
